Want to Get Better Results When Scouting in Retail Stores?

Target, Big Lots, Wal-Mart, Toys R Us and other retail stores can be pretty intimidating – so much merchandise, so little time! Are you wondering “how can I best tackle a store to maximize my time and find the best deals?”

Join me for a live, hands-on 2-hour training!

  • Buying recommendations — Your copy of my personal “Buy” guidelines that I’m using for retail arbitrage

  • Store game plan — How to approach any retail store, where you should focus your attention if you have limited dollars to spend

  • Live support — I’ll show you what I’m doing and then we’ll spread out to work the store together

  • Meet the store employees – Nervous about how you might be perceived by store clerks and managers? I’ll tell you what to expect and how to work with your new best friends in business.

  • Unlimited questions – You can come to me any time during the 2-hour session with “deal or no deal?” questions

  • Equipment check — A quick check to make sure everything is working

  • FBA Scout demonstration — Make sure you are comfortable with the program and how it works

Cynthia,

Do I have to have a scanner to join your class on Saturday, June 2? I have a smart phone with FBA Scout on it. But it’s pretty slow. Just don’t want to waste your time.

Thanks,
Nancy

Nancy,

The purpose of the class is learning and it will be slow going no matter what so don’t worry about fast scans. It is preferable to have the scanner so you can get comfortable using it, of course. It is not necessary, though. You can use the camera on your phone.

Cheers,
Cynthia

I don’t see any live classes scheduled. Do you have any plans for more? I would like to get the benefit of the additional training at the reduced price if I buy the book.

I’m not offering live classes at this time. I do offer one-on-one training over the phone (with Skype so I can see your computer screen) on any topic you need related to the Amazon business. Some local (Dallas-Fort Worth) sellers have hired me to take them shopping or to book sales as well. My rates are $150 an hour. As someone who bought my book, you would get $50 off the first hour.

I also have plans for video training in the future, but the earliest I could get to that project would be after the holidays.

Cheers,
Cynthia

Hi Cynthia,
Any plans for DFW live classes in the spring or summer of 2013?

Thanks! Your blog is fantastic.
After listening to your podcast, you convinced me that I CAN do this.

Cathy,

Good for you for taking action! I currently offer live one-on-one classes for retail shopping and book sales. In my free time (hah!) I’ll update my blog with that information. In the meantime, if you’re interested, just give me a call: 214-296-0984.

Cheers,
Cynthia

Hi,
You are fabulous! You mentioned in one of the above answers that you were hoping to have some video training after the 2012 holidays and just wondered how that is coming along?
We will all be looking forward to that !
Have a tremendous day!

Susi,

Thank you for your kind words. I find that life has made other plans for me and I’m not as far along as I hoped for the videos. Cost has been a real issue in that the cost of editing and finalizing the videos is more expensive than I hoped. I’m trying to find another solution which is taking time. This is my long-winded way of saying “I’m not sure when they’ll be ready.” I’m working on it but it is not as easy as I hoped. Thank you for your interest and I hope to have something for you later this year.

Cheers,
Cynthia
