Helpful Websites, Groups and Bloggers
|That Kat! Radio – Formerly Scan Power Radio, this is a twice weekly blast of good ideas and advice from very successful power sellers hosted by super-seller Kat Simpson. There’s an active chat room during the show for audience participation. I usually listen to the podcast later while I’m packing my inventory.
FBA Forum– A terrific Yahoo group moderated by Bob Willey that covers all things FBA. Many newcomers will find answers to their questions here either by searching (there’s a great wealth of information in the Forum) or by posting a topic. It’s a private group for FBA sellers only.
Videos by Chris Green – Insights, advice, and updates on Amazon from an FBA power seller, the founder of Scan Power and the author of Retail Arbitrage.
Kabbage offers advances to established online sellers to help them grow faster. You need at least six months of history selling online on Amazon.com, eBay, Etsy or another site, but it is a good alternative to credit cards as they base your advance on your sales performance. There’s no long form to fill out, no collateral pledged. I wrote a blog post about Kabbage HERE if you want to know more about it.
Book to the Future, Nathan Holmquist’s blog. While he doesn’t post frequently, what he posts is valuable. A recent post lists all the money he made in 2011 and how he did it. If you get the free book, you will be added to his blog email list as well as taken to his blog.
Skip McGrath’s Newsletter and Blog - A veteran of online sales, Skip started on eBay and now sells on multiple platforms.
